Q: Why adopt a Boston Terrier from Brooks Burnt Ridge Boston Terriers?

A:  Up here on the ridge we live for the Boston Terrier, cater to all there needs, from a belly rub to a
snuggle on the couch or in bed, a doctor visit for a checkup, not just emergencies, researching for
all holistic health aids to make them stronger and healthier.  We are working hard to provide strong
and healthy, good looking with good temperaments and well socialized Boston Terriers from puppies
to adults available for adoption to pre-approved homes.
I raise my Bostons in my home the whole year, there is no rotation in and out of any Kennel, other
than when females are in Heat and they must be in a crate(indoors) more than usual,  they are all my
    loyal companions.

Q: How do I become an approved home!
A:  You contact me and arrange an appointment to come meet me and my crew.
To see if we are comfortable doing business with each other!
From there when any Bostons puppy to adult come available you will be notified with all of the
other pre-approved homes, prior to me posting on the website. This will allow you to wait for
just that perfect time and pet for your home!
Deposits made at the time of choosing your pet, half of the adoption fee is required for a Deposit!

Q:  What Vaccinations do my Boston Terrier Puppies come with?

    A: 6 weeks I administer the Parvo
7 weeks I administer the Distemper

Recommended Protocol at 9-10 weeks take the puppy into the vet and have an
End Point Titer done and  the results take about 7 -10 days.
With an End Point Titer Test, allows you to build a vaccination protocol designed specifically
for your pet. So he/she can be vaccinated with what they need only.
Or if you feel you just have to vaccinate, I recommend a 3 in 1 or a DVP at 9 to 10 weeks old

Adults are all up to date on their boosters & Rabies, prior to leaving my home.
My Adults will all be snap titer tested prior to vaccination, from here on out!
I spend the first 8 weeks of their lives, building up their immune systems naturally with good food
and supplements like, Honey and Coconut oil,  Probiotics, garlic, seacure, Fish Oils, Fruits,
Vegetables, for treats. I add garlic to the food also. I use no store bought treats,  to destroy all the
hard work I do to keep their bodies toxin free!

Q: Are your puppies wormed?

    A: Yes, 3 & 5  & 7  weeks  I use panacur, Drontal Plus
I have switched my diet for my Bostons, to a Raw food diet and I add my special ingredients to aid in
boosting their immune systems, and maximize nutrition by improving nutrient absorption.  Plus with
using the Vegetables that I use such as Carrots, Celery, Sweet Potatoes, Yams, these vegetables aid
in parasitic control, also fresh pineapple kills parasites, other fruits I use are apples, cranberries,
    blueberries, papayas, mango.

Q:  Do your puppies come with a Health Guarantee?

A:  Yes, a one year health guarantee, which covers heart, lungs, kidneys, that is considered a
genetic or congenital issue, and that 2 licensed vet (not from the same facilities) has deemed this
puppy to die before one year! You must return the puppy and all proper papers before a
replacement puppy will be granted.  Depending on situation money may possibly just be refunded.
I also require you to guarantee me that you will provide a good healthy home environment, and
guarantee me that you will not put bad toxin foods into their bodies.  I work very hard to provide the
healthiest puppies ever when I hand them to you and I expect you to keep that up. You are required
to keep me updated about my fur babies.  I also require that if you can not for some reason take care
of your Boston Terrier from me personally no more than you must return he/she to me the breeder.
This is not a guarantee for buy back, No adoptions are transferable.

Q:  Do you Micro Chip?

A: Yes, with Avid microchips, I have the Gold Seal Recognition Excellence in Pet Care!
Your Pet has been fitted with a microchip and enrolled in Pet Trac,
the largest pet recovery network in the United States
Pre-Paid Registration, by me the breeder, a savings to you of $18.50!

Q:  Do you train your puppies?

A:  I work with my puppies on potty training from the day they start walking.
I work with them on no biting, chewing.  My puppies are crate trained.
They are also are trained for a doggy door from a very young age.  I work with them on come, down,
and sit.  I spend a lot of time making sure my puppies  have an idea of what will be expected of them,
you just need to let the puppy know what you expect out of them when you get them home.
    Remember calm and assertive.

Q:  What happens when I get home and I am concerned about something?

A:  Call me, I do not care what time it is, if you are concerned, I am concerned!
I do not care what the reason is, if one of my fur babies are having problems
I want to know about it!

Q:  Do you require spay/neutering?

A:  Yes, I require you to send me such proof, in an allotted amount of time,
    unless prior arrangements are made!
All Adults leave my home spayed/ neutered

Q: What kind of food do you feed?

A: I am feeding Raw Food, Yes you heard me!
For those of you who just do not like the thought of raw, I hear ya, ick!  But believe me your babies
    will love you!
Remember, wash your hands!  Wash your puppies face and hands also! You wash your kids face
after eating do you not! A little Apple Cider Vinegar in some water, wet a wash cloth and clean the
germs and bacteria of their faces, and jowels. Apple Cider Vinegar makes an awesome antiseptic
wash, for your pets.  When I feed them I put the bowl down they have 5 to 10 minutes to eat and then
it goes out the door to the big dog! I do not allow it to sit around and collect germs or let the kids
    play in it!
The raw food and raw bones I have used in the last year, with all the fruits and vegetables my crew
has been energetic a lot less issues, they all have very healthy coats of fur, and have energy on
command, they also have snuggle mode on command down pat!

Please, Please, Be very cautious of Kibble and
commercial Pet foods Raw, canned or Kibble!
We all need to start listening to our Pets!

Q: Wonder if I need a place for my Boston Terrier to stay for a little while and I do not want to take
him/her to a boarding place?

A:  I offer to all of my adoptive families, that they can bring their little companions back to me for any
amount of time needed for only a Tip or Donation will be excepted.  I would much rather them be
here than in a cold impersonal boarding home or Kennel! Here they will be loved and snuggled and
lot of buddies to play with.

If you have any questions about your Bostons or pets that you would like
to have an holistic approach in treating any issues like:
ear issues, skin issues, hot spots, puking, whelping, diets, worms, etc.....,
or just want another ones thoughts to help with an informed decision!
Help your pets live longer get educated on
vaccinations, diets, medicinal and holistic veterinarians.
I love all animals, and it has disgusted me to see all of our wonderful
companions dying of cancer, immune system disorders, vitamin and
mineral deficiencies, etc....., at such young ages.  We are all capable of
making an adequate diet to feed our pets, the dog food companies are
trying to tell you that they know best!
The Vaccinations that our vets are pumping into our pets, and we trust
them and the vaccines are killing them, they are guinea pigs for the
research to see what a disease can do or not!
We are responsible to our pets to learn the best possible health and care
for them.
